Our privacy policy is designed to provide maximum protection to our customer's private information, and meets the standards of the National Privacy Principles as set down by the Australian Privacy Commission.

We take every reasonable precaution necessary to protect the privacy of our customers personal information while providing you with the quality of service you expect.

By accessing any web site operated by ecellardoor pty ltd (ecellardoor), or by using our services in any other way, you are accepting the terms and policies outlined in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Customers Personal Information

The information you share with us and what we learn from our customers use of our web site(s) and services, helps us personalise, customise, and enhance your interaction with ecellardoor. Our business protects your private information in the following ways:

  • Asking only for the information we need to service you as a customer. This will include your IP address, the browser and operating system you use, the date and time of your visit and may also include:

    • Your Address(es)
    • Your E-mail address, telephone and fax numbers

  • Not storing credit card details on our server(s): When you order wine or other products or services from us, you may be required to enter your credit card and other billing details. These details will be securely processed by our third-party payment provider. ecellardoor does not store credit card details in any of our databases or other internet systems.
  • With respect to information from other sources: We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to your account information. Examples of information we receive from other sources include updated business delivery and address information from our carriers or other third parties, which we use to correct our records and, in the case of corporate clients, organisation-related data and credit history information.
  • With respect to other information (for corporate clients only):  We may collect other information as required and as outlined in any Service Agreement or Contract between your company and ecellardoor. This information will be protected in the same way as information collected by the other means above.

Sharing Customer Information

Collecting and using accurate and detailed information about our customers is necessary to provide you with the best on line user experience. We will never sell, rent or otherwise share this information with anyone outside ecellardoor. We share customer information only as described below and with controls that are either subject to our Privacy Policy or follow practices at least as protective as those described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Third Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include website hosting, fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service.
